TWiki (4.2 beta 1) now has a Windows Installer

TWiki 4.2 will be a much easier Wiki to install – with fully integrated native installers that will update your Computer with perl, apache and other tools needed to run TWiki.

The first of these installers released is the NEW Windows TWiki installer, and includes

  1. Apache 2.2,
  2. ActiveState Perl
  3. CGI::Session
  4. Gnu Grep
  5. TWiki 4.2.0 beta 1.

Please download it, try it out and report your impressions, gripes, bugs and successes here, on TWiki.org, or in the TWiki Bugs system.

Page Error after installl

Hi First of all thanks for the installer i think it could be great once the bugs are fixed. My problem: After install (apache is running) the configure page loads with one warning "SafeEnvPath" should be filled. after filling the path or leaving it blank and press "Next" i get PAge not found error and the configure page is also gone. all pages regarding Twiki are returning "Error 404" .

Please advice. My system: Windows XP SP2 – fresh install … reply
