One of the co-founders of WikiRing Consultants. Coming from a background in community planning and organizational development, Lynnwood recognized early on the potential of wikis as a tool for collaboration and knowledge management. He started actively designing and managing wiki-based web sites and intranets in 2002 and subsequently has become proficient in Unix administration and design of wiki-based applications.
In his capacity as a planner and development consultant, Lynnwood has worked with a broad diversity of organizations, both non-profit and for-profit, from small community-based ventures to large corporations. He also has specific expertise on collaboration in the fields of economic development, housing, and agriculture. Drawing upon this experience and applying his skills in organizational development and training, Lynnwood has been able to design custom wiki solutions that fit into existing organizational processes and culture. He also provides training and coaching to leaders of wiki projects in how to encourage their adoption, and facilitate their growth.
