Michael is a co-founder of the WikiRing Consultants.
His original interest in wikis was piqued during his PhD studies at the University of Hamburg, where he used it
as an e-learning as well as a research & development tool.
In former times Michael has worked as a research assistant at the University of Hamburg,
technical consultant in the tourism
industry, and as a software developer at CoreMedia. His background
ranges from natural language processing, knowledge management, information extraction,
high performance computing and combinatorial optimization techniques, as well as content
management, wiki technologies, web design and usability.
Micha is the creator of NatSkin, the most user-friendly skin for TWiki, and a number of other plugins and extensions for TWiki.
